How to Use RedotPay in Algeria

As of July 23, 2026, Algeria is not named on RedotPay’s official registration, card-issuance, or physical-card delivery restriction lists. Eligible users can register, complete KYC, and check virtual- and physical-card options in the app. Account approval, delivery, and merchant acceptance remain account-specific.

Who should use this route—and who should wait?

The virtual-card route is most suitable when you can complete KYC with your real details, the virtual-card option appears in your app, and the merchant accepts the card and billing setup. Wait and contact RedotPay support if the card option is missing, your real billing address is rejected, or your planned payment requires a PIN and you only have a virtual card.

What you can use in Algeria

Step 1: Register and verify your account

Start with the invite link above, install the RedotPay app, and complete the required registration and KYC steps. Use your real details and keep your account information consistent, especially if you plan to order a card.

Step 2: Activate a card

You need an active card before using RedotPay for purchases. The official help article says the virtual card can be entered directly on merchant websites. The physical card supports the same online functions and can also be used at POS terminals and ATMs that accept major cards.

Step 3: Pay where supported

For online payments, enter your RedotPay card number, expiry date, and CVV at checkout. Some merchants may also allow card binding. RedotPay says the virtual card may be linked to supported third-party wallets or platforms such as Google Pay or PayPal, but availability can vary.

Worked first-purchase example

For a $20 purchase at a merchant on RedotPay’s selected-purchase fee list, the stated fee is 1.5% with a $0.50 minimum after the card’s three monthly waivers are used. Because 1.5% of $20 is $0.30, the minimum applies: the purchase plus this fee would require $20.50 before any currency-conversion or merchant-side amount. Check the final amount in the app instead of funding exactly $20.

Important notes

The virtual card does not have a PIN and currently does not support PIN setup. If a merchant or terminal requires a PIN, use a physical card where supported instead.

The $5 sign-up reward is not for card application fees. Once your card is active, RedotPay says it can be used for online or in-store purchases before it expires.
