How to Link a RedotPay Card to Alipay

Alipay can support international cards in some account and merchant situations. If your RedotPay card and Alipay account are eligible, you can try adding your RedotPay Visa card as a bank card for supported payments.

Before you start

Prepare these items first:

• An active Alipay account.
• An active RedotPay Visa card.
• Access to the RedotPay app so you can reveal card details.
• Access to any Alipay verification method required by your account.
• Enough balance for a small test authorization or first purchase.

If you recently created your RedotPay account, finish KYC, card activation, and funding before linking the card.

The raw setup flow is:

1. Open Alipay.
2. Go to Me.
3. Tap Bank Cards.
4. Tap Add Bank Card.
5. Open the RedotPay app and reveal your card number.
6. Return to Alipay and enter the card details.
7. Complete verification.
8. Confirm the card has been added.

Step 1: Open Bank Cards in Alipay

Open the Alipay app and tap Me in the bottom-right corner. From there, select Bank Cards.

Step 2: Tap Add Bank Card

On the Bank Cards page, tap Add Bank Card. Depending on your Alipay version, this may appear as a button or a plus icon.

Step 3: Enter your RedotPay card details

Alipay will ask for the bank card number. Enter your RedotPay Visa card number carefully, then follow the prompts for expiry date, CVV, name, phone number, or other verification details if Alipay requests them.

Step 4: Find your RedotPay card number

If you do not have the full card number ready:

1. Open the RedotPay app.
2. Tap Card in the bottom menu.
3. Tap View on your RedotPay card.
4. Complete any security check required by the app.
5. Copy the full card number, expiry date, and CVV.
6. Return to Alipay and complete the entry.

Step 5: Confirm the card was added

After you enter the details and complete verification, Alipay should show a success screen if the card is accepted. You may also see a prompt for daily statement notifications. Choose the notification option that fits your preference.

Adding a card to Alipay does not guarantee that every merchant, QR payment, online checkout, or in-app transaction will accept it. Alipay support can vary by country, account verification level, merchant category, and card rules.
